This Privacy Policy explains how DreamToon (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the DreamToon mobile application (the “App”). Our goal is to be transparent about our data practices and meet the requirements of U.S., Canadian, and applicable international privacy laws.
We only collect data that is necessary to operate and improve the App.
- App Functionality – Record and transcribe dreams, generate comics, personalize features, and sync data across devices.
- Subscription Management – Validate purchases, enable free trials, process renewals, and display your current plan.
- Product Analytics & Improvement – Understand usage patterns, fix bugs, and enhance performance.
- AI / Machine‑Learning Training – Improve our AI models using anonymized and aggregated dream data that cannot identify you.
- Communication – Respond to support inquiries and send critical service notices.
- Security & Fraud Prevention – Detect and address unauthorized or harmful activity.
Legal Bases for Processing (If Applicable)
- Consent – When you allow microphone access or opt into AI training.
- Contract – To provide the App after you create an account.
- Legitimate Interest – To maintain security and improve the App.
Subscriptions & Payments
- The App offers a 7‑day free trial, then $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. Subscriptions auto‑renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
- All payments are processed by the App Stores. We do not handle or store credit‑card data.
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status with a non‑identifiable user ID.
We do not sell your personal data or track you across third‑party apps. We share information only:
- With Service Providers – Supabase (cloud storage), Firebase (analytics), and RevenueCat (subscription management), all under strict confidentiality.
- For Legal Compliance – When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety.
- In Business Transfers – If we merge, acquire, or sell assets.
- With Your Consent – When you explicitly authorize sharing.
- As Aggregated or Anonymized Data – Data that cannot identify you.
International Data Transfers
DreamToon is headquartered in the United States. If you access the App from Canada or another jurisdiction, your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ. We use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, to secure cross‑border transfers.
Data Retention
- Audio recordings are stored for up to 30 days unless you choose to keep them longer.
- Dream scripts, subscription data, and account info are retained while your account is active and for as long as legally required thereafter.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data.
- Port your data to another service.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

Children’s Privacy
DreamToon is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry‑standard safeguards—including encryption at rest and in transit, secure APIs, and role‑based access controls—to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we continuously improve our protections.

All dream interpretations and comics are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered medical or psychological advice.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced in‑app and by updating the Effective Date.
